I still remember last year a classmate of mine asked us to write a letter for the past year and also the yearly wishes. Blinks! Another 364 days past and when I look back, the blink year moved amazingly fast that I can remember tons of details of it.

The first thing is that I really try to be a teacher, not that exactly but we can say that~ And it is my first job outside the school, pretty meaningful, ha? The student of mine is a very cute boy in his middle school and to be honest, he is that kind of ‘tall’ cute. We spent quite a long time together this year and I may say the experience from teaching him the knowledge I’ve learnt before do help me not only to be talktive but also push me to rethink to reach the truth of the knowledge.

I shared a lot of time with my blog too. This year I learnt a lot about programming and I did practice myself to build up something. Git, the key to the version control system, helps me into the world of github and digitizing my working. Linux, one of the most popular open source computer systems in the world, through which I learned I did found a lot of fun from it, as well as how some basic Linux systems commands can do and the structure of the modern computer systems. I purchased a VPS and with the help of it I built up the tunnel to cross the internet block invisibly, which I did not even realized in my early life of being ‘educated’. Google, twitter, wikipedia… etc, fulfilled my vision toward the world and reconstruct the way I see the world. I bought a domain, and studied Jekyll, kind of language to build up a static web page. I made use of github to achieve my first blog with the help of Adam’s template. It confused me sometimes cause I did not have the knowledge of SSH or Javascript, or let’s say just the basic knowledge of it, and in order to know totally about how a static page would work in Jekyll, I put down the blogging work and studied them instead. Till now I am still on my way to it, y’ know, all the web, Javascript and node.js things, but I did move further.

One more thing I would like to mention, is that this year I learned three more new languages, which are Japanese, Russian and Español. I learned Japanese totally on my own and thanks to the resources of previous people, I got in charge of the basic grammar of it and knew how to spell the most common words without reference to dictionary. To me, I admit that I totally attracted to Japan and its culture. I fully respect their spirit of Sakura and the way they treat the nature or the environment around them. The desire to go to Japan helped me a lot in learning Japanese, so, I dare say among the three languages I learn new, Japanese is the best I take charge of. When it comes to Russian and Español, as well as Spanish, I will just say I have a long way to go. I learned this two in university class, the teachers are very nice to me, but I just don’t pay that more attention than I pay on Japanese. The Russian teacher went over her last year in university, and I did really really appreciate the classes she have taught me. She taught just like a mother teach her kid, indeed, and she talked very often, read the Russian words loudly, which impressed me a lot. It have been half year since she left us, and I really miss her.

My biology teacher in high school told us that you do not get into a relationship in university is not that advisable. We both laughed in that time and did looking forward to university life. But two and a half years past and I’m still single. Actually I know the reason behind this so I am not gonna change this kind of situation. One thing I am looking forward to is always to be on the way I know, so I am not hurry about this and I will take whatever God let it meant to be.

The December is another busy month as usual. Students are busy preparing their examination, and Guangzhou, too, busy with the flow and all that kind of getting cold thing. The examinations for me, are a rush after another, come very soon but also pave their way down the time. We got another ten days recently to prepare for our final one. So thanks to the free time, I built up a Telegram bot and under the tutorial of EhForwarderBot, I transferred the messages of my Wechat account to telegram and had some fun achieving it. Telegram is an encrypted end to end instant message app with its source code opened. I am really interested in diving into the highly self designing features Telegram gives us and cannot wait to tell my friends about it. The articles I am writing now is an one-page article publish platform of Telegram, telegra.ph/, which has the simplest UI I’ve ever met in writing articles. You do not need to login account and can publish whatever you want. It support bold, italic, links, images, twitter messages and videos from Youtube or Vimeo. Over the past two hours I write several articles in telegra.ph/ and linked them to make it a very simple blog. I do recommend you guys try this or Telegram, this apps will do you a lot of favor to communicate with your friends.

So much to say, but it will never see an end. So I guess this is it. Every year we wish a lot but many often we do not try hard to get them. But you still wish, you keep going, because that’s the way we embrace our life and hold it tight. I love this world, so I try my best to embrace it.
